Legal Disclaimer
By renting space at Rockaway Junction, you (the “Renter”) agree to abide by the terms outlined below. Rockaway Junction and its staff are not liable for any personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property occurring before, during, or after your event. The Renter assumes full responsibility for the behavior of their guests and all activities conducted within the venue during the rental period.
Terms & Conditions

Booking Confirmation:
A booking is not considered confirmed until a deposit has been received. Upon receipt, a booking confirmation will be sent via email or phone within 48 hours by an official Rockaway Junction staff member. -
Deposits and Refunds:

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date.

Last-minute cancellations (less than 7 days before the event) will forfeit the deposit.

If a cancellation is made at least one week prior, the deposit may be applied to a rescheduled date, pending availability and confirmation with a staff member.

Approved deposit refunds (in other cases) will be processed within 7–10 business days.

Right to Refuse Service:
Rockaway Junction reserves the right to refuse service or access to anyone at its sole discretion, including but not limited to, for inappropriate behavior, safety concerns, or breach of these terms.
Rules & Regulations

Venue Condition & Cleaning:

The event space must be left in the same condition it was provided (i.e., all trash disposed of, no damage to walls, floors, furniture, or restrooms).

Failure to do so will result in a $150 cleaning fee, which will be charged to the Renter or deducted from any security deposit.

Smoking Policy:

Heavy smoking is strictly prohibited inside the venue due to fire hazards and safety regulations.

Light smoking (such as hookah or vaping) may be permitted only with prior written approval and in designated areas, if any.

Security & Supervision:

Rockaway Junction is located in a high-traffic urban area. Guests should exercise caution when entering and exiting the premises.

The Renter is responsible for maintaining order and supervision of all guests throughout the duration of the event.

Time Management:

All events must start and end within the agreed-upon rental time. Overtime may incur additional charges at the venue’s discretion.

Prohibited Activities:

No illegal substances, weapons, or unlawful conduct are permitted on the premises.

Violations may result in immediate termination of the event and forfeiture of all payments.
